Jonas Wisner is a Los Angeles-based mix engineer, producer, and session guitarist specializing in rock, metal, and Japanese and anime-adjacent music.

With credits spanning independent releases, video game compositions, and live production for touring acts, Jonas brings a rare combination of technical precision and genuine cultural fluency to every project. Fluent in both English and Japanese, he works comfortably with artists across the US and Japan — and understands the sonic language of both worlds.

His approach is collaborative and detail-obsessed. Whether he's shaping a full production from the ground up, bringing clarity and punch to a final mix, or adding session guitar to an existing track, the goal is always the same: make the record sound like the best possible version of what the artist was hearing in their head.

Past work includes productions and mixes in the rock and metal space, session and live guitar work, and stage and playback production for touring artists including The Living Tombstone.

Arrangement and production from the ground up, or built on your existing demos
Full mix and master

Best for: artists who want a producer in their corner from concept to final master.

$100 per hour

Clean, rhythm, lead, fingerpicked, ambient, whatever the song needs. Remote recording delivered as high-quality DI and/or processed WAV files. Quick turnaround, clear communication, no fuss.

Best for: producers or artists who need professional guitar on their track fast.

$85 per hour

Collaborative production work, arrangement, sound design, tracking, creative direction. Available remotely via your preferred DAW or mine.

Best for: artists who want hands-on creative collaboration during the production process.
